8 valuable life lessons from Bhagavad Gita!!

When the point comes to Hinduism, you would have surely heard about Lord Krishna. Lord

Krishna is the most popular and worshiped Gods of Hinduism and is one of the major deities of

Hinduism.

He is referred to as the wisest and most intelligent God. He along with his Srimad Bhagavad Gita

are very much revered by saints and sages.

He is very much praised by people for his wisdom and intellect. His logic seems to be very

complex but has simple meanings.

He is so mysterious that only people with true devotion for him can understand his nature. Even

the Gods are confused by his logic.

Lord Krishna is known for giving the most valuable gift to mankind, the Bhagavad Gita. It is said

that even millions of the book’s knowledge also can not be compared with the wisdom of Gita.

People like Albert Einstein, Swami Vivekanand, George Bernard Shaw, Mahatma Gandhi have

praised Bhagavad Gita.

Many motivational speakers and successful people take references from Gita and are very much

inspired by it.

In today’s blog post, I’m going to share with you, 8 valuable life lessons from Lord Krishna and

his Bhagavad Gita.

These lessons can be very useful for you, and by applying them in your life, you can easily

achieve success.

LESSONS FROM BHAGAVAD GITA
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THE WORK BUT NOT TO DECIDE THE FRUITS

Lord Krishna has said in Bhagavad Gita that, “Just do the work, and don’t care about results”. It

seems to be very complex to understand, but its logic is very simple.

The results will come according to our work only. The type of work we will do, will decide what

fruits we will get.

Like if we will do bad deeds, we will be punished, if we do good deeds, we will be rewarded.

So Lord Krishna wants that we should improve our work and the results will automatically be

improved.

Because the results depend on the work, we do. Also, Lord Krishna says that the world and its

system is in the hands of God. So when you do the work, God looks after what results you will

get.

As we improve our work, God gives more and more results.

IF YOU SUBMIT YOUR BREATH, ACTION AND MOMENT INTO ME, LIKE THIS YOU WILL REACH ME

Our Scriptures have said, we can only reach to God by true love and devotion. In Bhagavad Gita,

Krishna says that the person who surrenders himself to the almighty, does every work in the

praise of the almighty, after death reaches to the almighty.

Lord Krishna says that we should submit our each moment, breath and action to God. When we

do this after death, we attain Moksha and reach to God.

Devotion towards God is the only way to find peace.

A WISE PERSON SAYS SOMETHING BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING, BUT A FOOL WILL
SAY SOMETHING BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING

A person’s intellect is defined by his speaking. The kind of words a person says decides that he

is a fool or a wise one.

Here Lord Krishna says that a fool person will speak illogically and without any reason. He will

speak too much just to gain popularity and fame. But in this way, he always ends up messing

everything and creating just insults for himself.

But they never understand that just blabbering words will not make him a popular person.

Instead, people think that the person is a mere chatterbox and nothing else.

But a wise person has nothing to do with his image, nor does he want any popularity or fame. He

will only speak when necessary. No doubt he will speak less but will speak effectively.

As a result, people will start respecting him.

And more and more people will be attracted to him due to his effectiveness in speaking. So to

conclude, speaking is less but effective.

CHANGE IS THE LAW OF NATURE, ACCEPT IT AND YOU WILL FIND PEACE

Once Lord Buddha had said that nothing is permanent and everything is temporary. Today or

tomorrow, everything has to change.

Lord Krishna in Gita says to Arjun that wise people never regret what they lost or did. They take

their stand bravely and face the failures and never try to escape from it.

As everything is of God, we are just his puppets, so why to grief at the thing we lost? The thing

which is ours today was somebody’s else yesterday and will be somebody’s else tomorrow.

Those who accept these changes find peace. Another change is the Law of Nature. Also, Krishna

tries to say that we are actually souls, this body is just a cloth for it.

As we change our clothes, our soul changes. Birth and Death are the permanent cycles of this

world and will happen one day with everyone.

So when it’s predefined, then what’s the matter of grief? This world is just an illusion. The actual

thing is God whom we have forgotten because of Materialism.

So never regret what you lost or did, accept changes that are coming as they are a part of nature

and you will find peace.

NO MATTER HOW ARE THE TEAM MEMBERS, IF THE LEADER IS GOOD THE TEAM CAN DO ANYTHING

In Ramayana, Lord Ram had said that a good leader is everything a great team wants. Even

Krishna has very much stressed on teamwork.

Lord Krishna says that the excellence of a team is defined by its leader and not its players.

Even Krishna himself was a good leader. He led the Pandavas towards victory despite they were

in such a small number.

If a team is not so good, but its leader is very much good, then the team will surely win. A good

leader always creates teamwork and good coordination between his team.

Successful leaders create such a system that they would not have to do anything and the team

members themselves handle everything.

A successful leader will always give a chance to his members first. He will give opportunities to

his members so that they can handle the situation themselves.

Like this, the leader creates an emotion of determination and loyalty in his members.

MEN DON’T FAIL BECAUSE OF THEIR PLAN, THEY FAIL BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO PLAN

Successful people have a quality in them which is known as mastermind planning. This quality

helps them to become successful in adverse conditions as well.

This quality is making good and efficient plans for every situation. Successful people have a

strategy to deal with every situation.

Lord Krishna himself was a great mastermind strategist. If he and his master plans would not

have been there, then the Pandavas also wouldn’t have surely been able to defeat Kauravas.

We should always try to deal with every situation cleverly. Try to observe the problem and find

its solution rather than crying about your luck.

So to finish, try to handle every condition and always be ready with a plan.

DON’T BE HAPPY IN GOOD TIMES AND SAD IN BAD TIMES, YOU WILL SURELY ACHIEVE HARMONY

Lord Krishna says that good and bad times are just like seasons. They come simultaneously.

First good comes, then bad or first bad comes and then good. But a wise person knows this

thing.

That’s why he never becomes too happy in good and depressed in bad. He knows that these

things keep passing away.

If today good is happening to you, then surely tomorrow bad will happen to you. If today bad is

happening to you, then surely tomorrow something good will happen to you.

So never be engaged in Good and Bad. Always maintain a balance in your emotions in both of

the times.

ALWAYS BE QUIET IN THREE THINGS :- ACHIEVEMENTS, WEALTH AND YOUR NEXT MOVE

Lord Krishna advises us to be quiet with these three things : Your success and achievements,

your wealth and money and your next moves and plans.

A successful person will never tell anyone about his success, wealth and next move. Because he

knows that some people will be there who will be his haters.

These haters will when they hear about the success or wealth, they will become jealous of that

person whom they hate.

Then they will try everything to fail him and insult him, which is not a good thing. Also, we should

not share our next plans with anyone else. It may happen that the person can become your hater.

And in the future, he can tell all your plans to your enemies and the enemies will easily defeat

you.

So never share these three things with anyone or else you will only get failures and hate!
