How to open Chakras?, “What is A Chakra Healing?”

Hinduism is full of knowledge. There is mention even about minute things also in the vedas. One of the topics is Ayurveda and the science of healing the body. In this blog, I will tell you about these Chakras and how you can heal these Chakras by doing meditation, wearing gemstones etc. When in ancient times, there was no modern technology, equipment or knowledge; our forefathers were totally dependent on yoga, exercise and ayurveda. According to the vedic science, there are seven energies which constitute our body. Our body is divided into seven parts on the basis of these energies. These energies are in the rotating spiral shape like as if a wheel is spinning. This energy is known as Chakra. A Chakra means a wheel in Sanskrit language. For simplicity, I will use “energy and wheel” here to denote chakras. These chakras are different energies which are located in different body parts and have their specific purposes. They control our emotions, thinking, behaviour etc. If we see from a spiritual perspective, these bodily energies are very important to balance our mind and body and to make our life happy. According to many people, if we balance all our energy wheels in the right way, we can easily achieve success and gain spiritual powers.

WHAT IS A CHAKRA HEALING??

Now I will tell you about What is a chakra healing and how we can open the chakras. The practice of chakras is quite easy. It’s just like doing a simple and basic meditation. Just you have to release all the stress out of your mind and experience the divine energy which is rotating inside you. Here are a few steps which you have to follow properly. If you do this for just 15 minutes every day, you can easily balance your energies.

CHOOSE A PLACE AND TIME

First of all, find a place which is cool, dry and very quiet. There is just silence and no noise or disturbance as it will improve your focus. Also the place should be clean and hygienic so that your mind will not be struck in the dirtiness of that place. The morning time is the best for this meditation.

 NOW PREPARE YOUR MIND

The second step is preparing your mind. The mind has the most important role in this meditation and if your mind is stuck somewhere else, you can’t do meditation properly. Your mind should be in the state of peace. It should not be struck with any thought, no matter if it is good or bad. This will help you to easily concentrate on your chakras and not on anything else.

PREPARE YOUR POSTURE

When you have chosen the place, prepare your mind then take any mat and keep it on the ground. Sit on it and in a padmasana (lotus pose). You can see it in picture.

START MEDITATION

This is the most important part. Take a deep breath and release it. While releasing, say OM. repeat this process. While saying Om, experience a red-coloured wheel spinning in the bottom most part of your body. Focus on this for 2-3 minutes. Now move upwards just below your navel. Experience a bright yellow-coloured energy rotating here. Like the previous one, focus on this also for 2-3 minutes. Repeat this for each energy wheel. Also automatically move in upwards direction till you reach the crown chakra.

According to the texts, between our eyes or between the two parts of our brain; there is a third eye. This eye is very special and is related to the divine. This eye is not only for seeing the material things but the eternal and divine things also. It represents the divine vision, prophecy or imagination. You may have Lord Shiva with a third eye.
