What is Yogic Diet! How to practice Yogasanas?

In today’s life, Yoga is a common phenomenon you will see everywhere. I’m sure that you all

have heard about yoga. Today this ancient Vedic science has become a common way to cure the

bodies.

Nowadays, the majority of people are adopting the Indian sciences rather than those hard English

medicines. In this blog, I will discuss Yoga, the ancient Indian system of exercises.

Yoga is a popular Indian science which comprises exercises, poses and postures. It believes that

the body can be cured by doing different exercises.

This vedic science uses different types of exercises to heal the body and eliminate diseases from

the body. Yoga is a branch of Ayurveda, the vedic medical science. It has evolved from the Vedas.

This ancient science was invented about 5000-6000 years ago. In ancient times, when there were

no machines or systems, people practiced Yoga, to keep their body healthy and fit.

This vedic science is also used to unite the body, mind and soul. While to improve the

coordination between the organs of the body.

Evolving from Hinduism, it was also majorly used in Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. The

Buddhist and Jain monks used this vedic science to keep their mind and body purified.

WHAT IS YOGA??

Yoga is an ancient system of exercises, postures and poses which are practiced in an order to

regulate the flow of energy in our body. It also unites the body, mind and soul.

It majorly gets mentioned in Vedas. It has evolved from Vedas particularly, it is a part of Ayurveda,

but it is different from it because Ayurveda uses medicines and natural products to become healthy

while Yoga uses exercises to be healthy.

It was mainly invented by the saints of India. It was mainly invented for health purposes. If we see

in the Hindu schools, Yoga is also a Hindu philosophical school. It has evolved from the Samkhya

school.

Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna are the major gods in Yoga. Lord Shiva is said to be “Adiyogi” or the

first one to practice Yoga. He has invented Yoga and taught to different Sages and Saints.

While Lord Krishna is said to be “Yogeshwar” or the God of Yoga. He is said to be the Lord of

Yoga and the greatest practitioner of Yoga.

The main purpose of Yoga is to purify mind, body and soul by doing different exercises. It also

unites the body, mind and soul.

This Vedic science states that when an imbalance occurs between the body, mind and soul, the

body becomes unhealthy. Yoga believes that exercises have the potential to defeat any kind of

disease whether it is strong, weak, communicable or long-term.

It can boost your immunity and prevent any disease from coming into the body.

The Yogic school believes that by knowledge and meditation, one can achieve Moksha.

WHY YOGA IS IMPORTANT FOR HAPPY LIFE

We all know the situation of this world very well. Anger, stress and negativity are the symbols of

this world. In this world of success and failures, stress and anxiety are common in everyone.

So what is the main cause of this stress?? Well if we find the answer in Bhagavad Gita, it says

that imbalance and indiscipline are the main cause of stress.

In this fast-moving world, people don’t focus on their lifestyle, their diet and health.

Today’s people focus less on games and exercise and more on their work, study, TVs and mobiles.

Inadequate eating, drinking and sleeping, anger and greed; these are some main causes of anxiety

and stress.

Being too serious is also wrong as it gives rise to anxiety which in turn becomes depression. We

focus on our normal intelligence, but we forget our emotional intelligence, while emotional

balance is more important.

Now by practicing Yoga, our ability of self-control and self-discipline improves in our life. Yoga

increases balance in our lifestyle. Balance gives rise to a perfect lifestyle.

Also by practicing yoga, our sense of humor increases, which prevents us from being too serious.

It unites our body, mind and soul thus increasing our mental discipline. As it told you above;
